Plumpton Estate wines
Plumpton Estate wines are made exclusively on the Plumpton College campus by students on our wine production courses, under the guidance of our highly-qualified instructors. The students thrive in the professional and supportive environment we create, and our alumni can be found making wine not only in the UK but around the world.
This website, still in development, will provide key information on Plumpton Estate wines and Plumpton College wine programmes for our customers, potential students and industry partners.

Our award-winning Plumpton wines are exclusively produced from grapes grown in our own vineyard at Scaynes Hill, near Haywards Heath, East Sussex.
There are 13 different cultivars planted on this site: Chardonnay, Pinot noir, Pinot Meunier, Bacchus, Dornfelder, Rondo, Acolon, Seyval Blanc, Regner, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, and Ortega.
We aim to process 25 tonnes of grapes and produce 40,000 bottles of award-winning still and sparkling wines each year at Plumpton, which we then distribute through local traders and national supermarkets.
